1.

When a child decides they want to enroll in our Earn A Bike program, they open an “account” with us. As they work through the program they are given opportunities each week to earn points. These points are stored in their accounts. With these points the kids can “purchase” new bikes, equipment & accessories from our store in the bike shop.

2.

Our Earn A Bike program meets once a week at our location in Hogansville, Georgia & lasts for a total of 12 weeks. During these meeting times we have different leaders & professionals come in to teach our kids about bike repair, maintenance, and skills.

3.

During each meeting, kids have the opportunity to earn points towards our store. They can earn points by showing up to our weekly classes, displaying good character qualities such as encoruaging others & being kind, memorizing scripture verses. They can also participate in community service projects outside of class time to earn points.

4.

Along with earning points, each child must complete 6 skills tests before they can earn their bike. These skills test include concepts such as detecting a hole in a tire, patching a tube, fixing breaks, disassembling & cleaning a bike.. etc.

5.

At the end of each season of our program, we celebrate big with a bike ride through town, pizza & a lot of fun!
