2019 & 2020 BUDGET


 

2019 Budget

Rent/Utilities/ We have been really blessed with having a small, affordable space behind Pioneer on main street. We are hoping to find a larger space that could accommodate larger class sizes for 2020.

 Shop Supplies/ These supplies include paper towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, & other necessary items to keep the shop clean & safe for the kids.

Tools/ We have been gifted a great set of tools! This cost is to be prepared for any purchases we might need to make due to loss or damaged tools over time.

Bikes/ While we have had SO many bike donations, we don’t always have the correct size for a child who earns a bike throughout program. This cost helps us purchase new bikes if necessary. We also have kids who have earned a used bike who would like to upgrade.   They can do so by continuing in the program. We would love to provide these kids with a strong, well-built bike once they prove they can handle the responsibility of it.

Bike Parts/ Through our summer program we offer free bike repairs. These repairs can vary any where from new tubes to new chains. This cost helps us purchase the necessary parts to   fix any bike that is brough to us. This will also help purchase parts to fix up donated             bikes through our earn a bike program.

Events/ We have found that events are a great way to reach families and kids we have yet to interact with. These events could include anything from our “Geared Up- Bike Safety” program to our 4th of July bike parade.

Marketing/ There has to be a way to tell our community about these events & new programs we are offering. This will help us purchase flyers & other necessary marketing items.


2020 Budget

Part Time Director/ Non-profit work is no easy task. We have quickly realized that we need at least one part time employee. Our hope is to see Emilee come on board with a 20-30 hour work week for Pedal Forward. Her job would include organizing programs, events, & volunteers. She will also be responsible for all the back end work including out budget, fundraising & book keeping.

Rent/Utilities/ We have a huge desire to see Pedal Forward’s programs grow & to add more programs in 2020. To do this we will need a bigger space. The ideal space would be large enough to host classes for ~15 kids, have accessible bathrooms & heating/air.
